None of the UV rays, but plenty of heat,
I bought this tent for my 5 month old so we could go to the beach and not worry about sunburn. First off, this tent sets up so easily you can almost do it with one hand. Taking it down is really easy too, but takes a tiny bit more effort. I can’t imagine finding a tent that is as easy to use and that’s a huge plus. The beach was quite windy at times and the tent showed no issues with possibly being blown away, but I’m guessing it’s a potential problem for all tents.
The design of the tent allows sunlight through teh top where there is breathable mesh lining. I’m not sure if the mesh blocks enough UV or not so we put a towel on top too. UNfortunately, even with the side door and front open all the way, this tent gets really hot inside. The problem, I quickly realized, is that the bottom is so thin that all the heat from the sand goes right up into the tent. So I’d recommend first wetting the sand a little and then putting a thick blanket on top and finally the tent.

This play tent is extremely easy to set up and take down. It folds up quite small and has a storage bag included. The colors of the beach tent are much nicer in real life than online. Absolutely no hassle involved with this toy.
